The high-level program features 23 Technical Forums on innovative energy solutions across the oil and gas sector, from disruptive technologies to cleaner energy solutions.
Early registration has opened for the 23rd World Petroleum Congress; delegates will join an anticipated 10,000 attendees including 50 ministers and 500 C-suite executives from 100 countries.

The World Petroleum Council has announced the first of many can’t miss speakers for the 23rd World Petroleum Congress. The packed program of the Congress will feature eight high-level plenary sessions across five days, with global leaders from the oil and gas sector now confirmed to speak.
The World Petroleum Council has announced that 2,000 abstracts were received for the 23rd World Petroleum Congress (WPC) Call for Papers – the highest number of submissions ever achieved in the history of the Congress.
Leadership from each of the companies will serve on the WPC Organizing Committee Board of Directors to support programming and help set the strategic direction for the event, which is returning to the city of Houston and the United States for the first time in more than three decades.
Topics include innovations in upstream, downstream and petrochemicals and natural gas. Other technical sessions will address the future energy landscape and the way forward in managing energy solutions.
The 23rd World Petroleum Congress (WPC) Organizing Committee announced the launch of the Call for Papers during the 50th Anniversary of the Offshore Technology Conference.
