Contribute to the future of energy and be among forward thinking innovators and companies at the Innovation Zone by ConocoPhillips. Located on the exhibition floor, the interactive special feature gives companies a platform to present cutting-edge practices to combat the current challenges of the industry and bring awareness to progressive energy solutions available on the market today.

Through an application process, a dynamic selection committee from the 23rd WPC and ConocoPhillips will evaluate and choose 32 companies to participate and pitch their innovative energy tools, technologies, and practices on the Innovation Zone stage during the week of the Congress. One company will then be selected by audience voting to receive the Energy Innovator Award at the conclusion of the 23rd WPC.

Proposals Due: August 20, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. CST

+ Be a for-profit energy company, private entity, and/or an individual operating as an independent contractor.

+ Using the application Form, Submit a 2-5 minute viDeo with a High-level pitch of your project, service, or Technology. The video must include the spokesperson who will be presenting at the conference.

+ Submit application in english and clearly written for a general (rather than Technical) Audience.

Project Recommendations

A selection committee from ConocoPhillips and 23rd WPC will use the following criteria as a basis for project selection. Drawing attention to the these aspects will strengthen your application.

Finalist Selection

The selection committee will choose 32 project finalists to be showcased at the 23rd WPC. Finalists will be notified in September. All presentations must be conducted in English. The chosen companies will be asked to provide additional information, photographs and/or video clips in advance of the event for the purposes of media relations.

+ Be prepared to attend and present in-person during the day/time assigned by the selection committee.

+ Have a presentation that is 20 minutes in total; 15 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for Q&A. A maximum of four speakers will be allowed to present.
