The World Petroleum Council (WPC) is a non-advocacy, non-political organization with charitable status in the U.K. and has accreditation as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) from the United Nations (UN). The WPC is dedicated to the promotion of sustainable management and use of the world’s petroleum resources, for the benefit of all.
Once a delegate has registered and payment has been processed, a confirmation email will be sent which includes information and a link for registering an accompanying guest. There is a $750 registration fee for accompanying guests that allows access to the Congress exhibition and all special events but does not include Congress program sessions.
Yes, speakers, poster presenters, reviewers, moderators, or co-chairs of a session should have received a special registration link for their use. Speakers should not use the regular delegate or any other registration link. If you have questions, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.

November 5, 2021 will be the final day to register with a bank transfer (International Wire or US Domestic ACH/EFT). On November 6, 2021, only credit cards will be the accepted method of payment.

For security reasons, all delegates are required to upload a photo that will be used for identification. You will have the opportunity to upload your photo when registering. All delegate badges provided on-site include a delegate photo for security purposes.
The best profile pictures are around 200×200 pixels such as passport style headshot and in a .jpg format.

After submitting the online application, every applicant must complete an interview. Volunteers will be selected on a first come, first served basis, depending on their intended time commitment and general flexibility. Once selected, volunteers must pass a criminal background check in order to participate.
The 23rd WPC requires a background check to ensure the protection and security of all participants. Background checks help us achieve a more efficient and safer work environment for our event. All information in the application and any acquired through the background check will remain confidential and is used only for screening and placement purposes.
The WPC Organizing Committee is taking all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of our staff, volunteers & delegates. In the ever changing landscape of the pandemic, our team stays up to date on the most recent protocols from our local, state and national levels of government. Before the event, volunteers will be well informed on our COVID-19 processes which may include but will not be limited to additional sanitation throughout the building, required PPE, and social distancing measures.
